The Aim of Educational Professional Program

Provide educational services and carry out the training of highly qualified and competitive specialists in the field of knowledge “Journalism”, taking into account the generalized objects of the socio-cultural information space, pluralistic system of means of expression and the formation of mass consciousness, artistic and aesthetic vision of reality, public opinion on the basis of human values about socially significant events, phenomena, various forms of activity of the target audience in social, political, cultural, industrial, territorial, religious conditions, as well as the activities of groups or individuals that are segmented by purpose of information product, created during the description / search of materials for the media.

Teachers of academic disciplines have a degree or practical experience in the relevant professional field.

Orientation and specificity of work within the profession, namely the content of tasks relevant to the qualifications "Journalist".

The study of production functions and typical components of the structure of professional activities.

Employment opportunities

The professional activity of graduates who have mastered the bachelor's program includes solving of professional problems in mass media and in the related information and communication spheres.

Graduates of bachelor's programs in accordance with the types of professional activities on which the bachelor's program is oriented, is ready to solve the following professional tasks:

- journalistic author's activity: creation of materials for different types of mass media and other media taking into account their specifics;

- editorial activity: bringing materials intended for placement in the newspaper, magazine, TV, radio broadcasts, Internet media in line with linguistic norms, professional standards, formats, styles, technological requirements adopted in mass media of different types; project-analytical activity: participation in the development and correction of the concept of a media project, definition of its format, in various types of programming, planning;

- organizational and managerial activity: participation in accordance with the official status in the organization of work of media enterprises, their subdivisions, creative groups; social and organizational activities:

- Involvement in cooperation with mass media and other media representatives of different segments of society, organizations, institutions and interaction with them;

- production and technological activities: participation in the process of publishment, television, radio programs, Internet media and other media on the basis of modern technologies.
