The Faculty of Environmental Safety, Engineering and Technology was established in 2019 on the basis of the Institute of Environmental Safety (2010), established on the basis of the Faculty of Environmental Safety (until 2005, the Faculty of Environmental Protection) by the order of the University rector № 466/ed . from 12.10.2018 to enact decisions of the Academic Council of the University from 28.09.2018minutes № 6. There are more than 1100 students in the faculty. Training is carried out on a full three-step cycle of degrees "Bachelor", "Master" and "Doctor of Philosophy".

The Faculty of Environmental Safety, Engineering and Technology is an educational, scientific and administrative unit of the University, which carries out the educational activity connected with obtaining higher education on the licensed specialties and has an adequate level of personnel and material-and-technical provisions.

The main purpose of the faculty is to provide the necessary conditions for get undergraduate and graduate education, quality training of highly qualified scientific specialists, based on the modern level of knowledge and research, able to work successfully in the competitive environment in Ukraine and abroad.

There are six departments at the Faculty:

Department of Biocybernetics and Aerospace Medicine

Department of Ecology

Department of Civil and Industrial Safety

Head of the Department - Batyr Khalmuradov, candidate of medical sciences, professor.

Graduates of all specialties are ready to work on the national classifier of Ukraine DK 003:2010.

The graduates of the specialty "Ecology" are ready to work in primary positions: organizer of nature management; nature protection inspector; state inspector for technogenic and environmental monitoring; inspector for protection of natural reserve fund; inspector for water resources use; environmental technician; state inspector; intern researcher.

The graduates of the specialty "Chemical Technology and Engineering" are ready to work in the primary positions: chemical engineer, engineer (chemical technology), engineer-technologist (chemical technology), researcher (chemical technology), junior researcher (chemical technology), researcher-consultant (chemical technology).

The graduates of the specialty "Biotechnology and bioengineering" are ready to work in the following positions: biotechnologist, engineer, ecobiotechnologist, researcher.

The graduates of the specialty "Biomedical Engineering" are ready to work in the following primary positions: biomedical engineer, engineer for adjustment and testing, engineer for implementation of new techniques and technology, design engineer in the production of medical and dental instruments and materials and radiological, electromedical and electrotherapeutic equipment; engineer for organization of operation and repair.

The graduates of the specialty "Telecommunications and Radio Engineering" are prepared to work in primary positions: engineer for adjustment and testing, engineer for organization of operation and repair, engineer for implementation of new techniques and technology, design engineer, design engineer for production of medical and dental instruments and materials and radiological, electromedical and electrotherapeutic equipment.

The graduates of the specialty "Geodesy and land management" can occupy the following positions: researcher (cartography, topography), geodesist, land surveyor engineer, cartographer, topographer, specialist in geosystemic environmental monitoring, specialist in remote sensing and aerospace monitoring.
