Fire safety training was held at the Faculty of International Relations

A fire safety training was held at the Faculty of International Relations with the participation of the faculty's administration, heads of departments responsible for fire safety from structural units and students. The event was initiated by the dean of the Faculty of International Relations Yuriy Voloshyn.

Yuriy Sydorenko, head of the Department of Civil Protection, Fire and Environmental Safety of the National Aviation University, addressed the participants of the training. The lecturer spoke about the main fire safety measures, explained the algorithm of actions in case of fire and how to act during firefighting. He noted that new fire extinguishers have been purchased for all faculties of the National Aviation University and fire protection systems have been installed.

The participants learned about the types of fire extinguishers, including the substances used to extinguish fires of different classes, and their proper operation. Yuriy Sydorenko also demonstrated how to extinguish a mock fire using primary fire extinguishing equipment.
