The National Aviation University hosted the XXIV International scientific and practical conference of students and young scientists "FLIGHT. Modern problems of science"

The Educational and Research Institute of Education Development hosted a sectional meeting "Gifted student and pupil youth: research, innovation, scientific discoveries and search" as part of the XXIV International scientific and practical conference of students and young scientists "FLIGHT. Modern Problems of Science", organized by the National Aviation University.

The sectional meeting was opened by moderator Liudmyla Lakhtionova, PhD in Economics, associate professor, deputy director of the Institute, who noted that the event was taking place in the context of the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war, but hoped that the work of the section would be fruitful, interesting and constructive.

Svitlana Suchkova, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, associate professor, Integrated Senior High School and European Public School in Berlin (Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany), made an introductory speech.

The section was opened by Tetiana Petrovska, PhD in Pedagogy, Director of the Center for Pre-Professional Training and Gifted Students, Educational and Research Institute of Education Development of the NAU, with a report on "The role of the center for pre-professional training and gifted students of the ERIE for future NAU applicants during the period of martial law in ukraine."

At the sectional meeting, reports were heard and discussed:

• students of 586 KB of the group of specialty 125 "Cybersecurity and Information Protection", VSP "Professional College of Engineering, Management and Land Management of the National Aviation University" Tsygan Rodion, Shibaev Dmytro and Pushkash Oleksiy (scientific adviser: Olha Vaskovska, lecturer of the highest category, chairman of the cycle commission of natural disciplines of this college);
• students of 322 T group of the specialty "Tourism" of the VSP "Professional College of Engineering, Management and Land Management of the National Aviation University" Kurbonova Karyna, Oleksenko Anastasia, Shevchuk Anzhelika, Danylenko Victoria, Misnikevych Iryna, Lilia Liakhor, Anastasiia Pryadka (supervisor: Lyudmyla Kudela, teacher, chairman of the cycle commission of tourism, geodesy and land management of this educational institution);
• 9th grade students of the Rivne Lyceum № 27 Anastasia Movchaniuk and Oleksandra Smetaniuk, Rivne Small Academy of Sciences for Pupils (supervisors: Lyudmyla Vorobiova, PhD in Philology, associate professor, head of the Rivne Junior Academy of Science for Pupils and Olena Vozniuk, teacher-methodologist, Rivne Lyceum No. 27);
• Valeria Borovets, 2nd year student of the Rivne College of Economics and Technology (supervisor: Natalia Savchuk, teacher of Ukrainian language and literature, teacher-methodologist of the Rivne Economic and Technological College of NUVEP.
• reports from the Fastiv School of Folk Crafts of the Fastiv City Council by Daria Kravchenko and Valeria Denysenko (supervisor: Inna Bozhko, teacher-methodologist, Fastiv School of Folk Crafts of Fastiv City Council).

The closing remarks were made by Olena Volarska, doctor of pedagogical sciences, associate professor, Department of Pedagogy, Comenius University in Bratislava (Bratislava, Slovak Republic) and Liudmyla Kudela, lecturer, head of the Cycle Commission of Tourism, Geodesy and Land Management, VSP "Professional College of Engineering, Management and Land Management of the National Aviation University", Kyiv, Ukraine.

Scientific abstracts will be published in an electronic collection of scientific papers.

Moderator Liudmyla Lakhtionova thanked the organizers, partners and participants for their interest and wished them further success and achievements. She also expressed gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to hold the conference.
