The first round of the All-Ukrainian contest of student research papers in the specialty "Theory and History of State and Law; History of Political and Legal Doctrines; Philosophy of Law"

On March 21, 2024, pursuant to the letter of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 3/6194-23 of 30.10.2023 and the letter of the Institute of Modernization and Content of Education of 06.11.2023 No. 21/08-1948 "On Holding the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad and the All-Ukrainian Contest of Student Research Papers in the Fields of Knowledge and Specialties in the Academic Year 2023/2024", the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Law Faculty held the first round of the All-Ukrainian Contest of Student Research Papers in the specialty "Theory and History of State and Law; History of Political and Legal Doctrines; Philosophy of Law".

Applicants for higher education of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) level of the specialty 081 "Law" took part in the contest.

To organize and conduct the first round, a contest commission was established, which included:

• chairman - professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Doctor of Law, professor Rostyslav Kaliuzhnyi;
• members - associate professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, candidate of historical sciences, Svitlana Holovko and associate professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, candidate of historical sciences Victoria Cherevatyuk;
• secretary - associate professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Anna Rybikova.

Based on the results of the selection and defense of the works, the winners were determined:

• I place - student of the group PR-101M Bohdana Litvinchuk. (Topic: "Legal Communication as a Means of Interaction between the State and Civil Society", supervisor - head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, associate professor Olena Makeieva);
• II place - student of the group PR-101B Igor Khubulov (Topic: "Legal regulation of human rights restrictions in a state of emergency", supervisor - associate professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, PhD Iryna Varava);
• III place - student of the group PR-201B Igor Figorniuk (Topic: "State Power as the Highest Form of Political Power", supervisor - senior lecturer of the Department, candidate of public administration Veronika Oleshchenko).
