National Aviation University joined the EUGREEN consortium of European universities

Since February 2024, the National Aviation University, together with 12 other Ukrainian universities, has become a co-partner of the EUGREEN consortium of European universities (INTERACT 2.0).

This partnership became possible due to the initiative of the acting dean of the Faculty of Linguistics and Social Communications Natalia Melnyk and her close cooperation with the International Cooperation Coordinator Malin Hilman, EUGREEN director Håkan Hugosson from Eule University (Eule, Sweden), and Jovita Pyszczek from the University of Wroclaw (Wroclaw, Poland).

Thanks to coordination with the rectorate of the NAU, support for the conclusion of contracts under the auspices of the head of the NAU reorganization comission, acting rector Ksenia Semenova and vice-rector for international cooperation and education Iryna Zarubinska, the official foundations for the formation of sustainable scientific relations, joint scientific events of international level and partnership with 9 leading European universities in various areas of the NAU's activities were laid.

University of Extremadura (Spain) - EU GREEN coordinator in various areas of the National Aviation University's activities: technical, humanitarian, social, environmental, economic, etc.

Within the framework of the partnership, which became possible thanks to the Polish side, a Staff Week is planned for June this year, which will include activities to establish acquaintance with EU GREEN coordinators, develop a strategy and familiarize Ukrainian partners with the procedure for joining the consortium, familiarize NAWA offers for Ukrainian researchers and activities aimed at preparing Ukrainian universities for membership in the consortium as a full-fledged EU GREEN partner.
