The X International scientific and practical conference was held at the National Aviation University

The X International scientific and practical conference "Actual Problems in the Education System: General Secondary Education Institution - Pre-University Training - Higher Education Institution" was held at the National Aviation University.

The conference brought together representatives from 20 foreign countries: The USA, the Great Britain, Germany, France, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Estonia, Latvia, Slovakia, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, India, Poland, Bulgaria, and 22 regions of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv.

The conference was moderated by Liudmyla Lakhtionova, PhD in Economics, associate professor, deputy director of the Research Institute of the NAU. She noted that the event is taking place in the context of a long war. The conference participants observed a minute of silence to honor the victims.

Iryna Zarubinska, chair of the conference's organizing committee, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, vice-rector for international cooperation and education of the NAU, made an opening speech.

The plenary session heard and discussed keynote presentations by well-known Ukrainian and foreign scholars, including:

• Bohdan Piontkovsky-Vykhvaten, PhD in pedagogy, psychologist, Center for Pre-Vocational Training and Gifted Students, NAU Research Institute of Education and Research;
• Muhammad Jammal, PhD in education management and leadership policy, member of the Admissions Committee, British University of Dubai (UAE);
• Gaziza Alibekova, doctoral student at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty, Kazakhstan);
• Saipzhamal Korganova, associate Ppofessor, M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University (Shymkent, Kazakhstan);
• Daria Suprun, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor at the Department of Social Work and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Humanities and Pedagogy, National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine;
• Abdulkadir Kabadayi, PhD in pedagogy, professor, academician, Necmettin Erbakan University (Konya, Turkey);
• Volodymyr Momot, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, doctor of economics, professor, Alfred Nobel University;
• Olena Voliarska, doctor of pedagogy, associate professor, Department of Pedagogy, Comenius University in Bratislava (Bratislava, Slovak Republic);
• Kasim Tatlilioglu, associate professor, PhD, academician, Department of Psychology, Bingöl University (Bingöl, Turkey);
• Svitlana Suchkova, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, associate professor, Integrated Senior High School and European Public School in Berlin (Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany).

The closing remarks were delivered by Svitlana Kalabukhova, doctor of economics, professor, Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University (Ukraine) and Jaan Alver, PhD in Economics, associate professor, Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia).

The conference participants were greeted by Mechtild Schmidt Feist (New York University, USA), Saipzhamal Korganova (M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University), Shakhla Gakhramanova (Azerbaijan State University of Economics) and Albert Fischler (University of Paris, France).

The scientific articles will be published in the electronic scientific journal "Actual Problems in the Education System: General Secondary Education Institution - Pre-University Training - Higher Education Institution" (ISSN 2786-5487 online). Each article will be assigned a DOI.

The organization and holding of international scientific and practical conferences at the initiative of the Educational and Research Institute of Education Development contributes to the expansion of the range of international scientific cooperation of the university, the entry of Ukrainian education and science into the world level.

A nation that organizes international scientific events in time of war, improves its knowledge, shares scientific achievements at the global level, actively develops international educational and scientific cooperation is doomed to win!
