Implementation of innovations in the educational process of the Department of Air Transport Infrastructure of the Faculty of Ground Facilities and Airfields

The year 2024 began for the Faculty of Ground Structures and Airfields with a promising cooperation.

Serhiy Kovaliuk, director of the industrial company SPE "Polymeric Innovative Materials", which, together with the State Research Institute of Building Structures and the Technical Committee for Standardization "Building Structures", developed DSTU 9065:2021 Composite reinforcement for reinforcement of concrete structures, offered creative cooperation with the faculty's scientists.

The company is interested in further standardization of its products together with the Department of Air Transport Infrastructure of the FNSA. In particular, it concerns the use of composite materials in the construction of roads and airfields.

At a working meeting with acting dean Oktyabrina Chemakina and head of the department Oleksandr Dubyk, the parties discussed ways to involve teachers and students in the implementation of the proposed innovative technologies.
