Ukraine's first Center for Innovation and Competence "Cyber Action" opened at NAU

The Center is founded by the University, the Scientific Association of Cybersecurity of Ukraine and the Cyber Action Platform. A total of 5 more such centers are planned to be opened - in Kharkiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Zhytomyr and Cherkasy.

The main goal of the Cyber Action Center is to form an ecosystem of research and educational activities, attract investment, commercialize projects, and provide comprehensive support to talented youth.

On the occasion of the center's opening, the University Innovation Solutions Forum was held, opened by Oleksii Shkuratov, vice-rector of NAU, with welcoming remarks by Anastasiia Yarmoliuk, head of the Network Development Department of Technology and Innovation Support Centers at the Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovation, and Serhii Hnatiuk, dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology at NAU, and moderated by Roman Odarchenko, head of the Department of Telecommunication and Electronic Systems at NAU.

The forum brought together students, postgraduates, and researchers from the NAU who presented their research findings in various fields (aviation, IT, telecommunications, logistics, and the digital economy). The winners of the competition are:

First place - Ihor Zakutinsky (Department of Electronics, Robotics and Monitoring Technologies and the Internet of Things, FAET);

II place - Denys Bakhtiyarov (Department of Telecommunication and Electronic Systems, FAET);

III place - Vladyslav Radin (Research Laboratory for Countering Cyber Threats in the Aviation Industry of the FCST).

The event was attended by interested students and professors from different faculties of the National Aviation University, as well as many guests from public and private companies, startup funds, military departments, and others.
