NAU teams won prizes in the Ukrainian Tug of War Championship

On September 21, 2023, the Open Tug of War Cup of Ukraine among students took place at the sports complex of the Ivan Piddubnyi Olympic Professional College.

The competition was attended by students from universities, academies, institutes, as well as representatives of lyceums and colleges. For the first time, teams from the Armed Forces of Ukraine were represented in the competition. In total, 8 women's and 19 men's teams from different regions of Ukraine competed.

The National Aviation University was represented by two teams at once - men's and women's ones. Our students, demonstrating their best physical and psychological qualities, cohesion and thirst for victory, won silver awards among men's and women's teams.

The silver medalist team: members of the national team of Ukraine - Kristina Demchenko FCPI NAU - 242 M, Ruslana Yarmolenko FAET NAU - 362 and Tetiana Savinova FCST NAU - 351, also Natalia Shapenko FLSK NAU - 326, Alyona Bogdanenko FEBIT NAU - 305 and Maria Mytenko FCST NAU - 261.

The NAU men's team: member of the national team of Ukraine - Oleksandr Prykhodko AKF NAU - 104M, Denysenko AKF NAU - 203M, Shpota Ilya FAET NAU ¬ 405, Shkodych Serhii FAET NAU ¬ 304, Timchenko Andrii FEBA NAU - 108.
