NAU students took part in a workshop from an employee of the State Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine

On September 21, 2023, the deputy head of the Laboratory of Educational and Scientific Work of the State Scientific Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, PhD Daria Gurina held a workshop on "Tactical features of the inspection" for 4th year students of the Law Faculty.

The quality and effectiveness of priority, urgent investigative (detective) actions, the most important of which is the inspection, play an important role in the investigation of criminal offenses. It is during the inspection that traces and forensically significant information are detected, recorded, and seized," Daria Gurina said at the beginning of the event.

During the discussion, Daria Gurina prepared a thorough and interesting presentation on the tactical features of the inspection as an investigative (detective) action, described the stages, stages and methods of inspection of the scene, and provided valuable advice on recording the progress and results of the inspection.

An interesting aspect of the discussion was the discussion of current issues of ensuring the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens during the inspection.

At the end of the event, Natalia Goldberg, associate professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure, expressed her gratitude for the interesting material and useful knowledge for future lawyers and invited Daria Gurina to cooperate in further scientific events.
