A meeting at the Law Faculty to clarify the main issues of the approbation USQE

On September 22, 2023, an online meeting was held with masters of the EPP "Jurisprudence" to address organizational issues of the approbation Unified State Qualification Exam.

The Unified State Qualification Exam in the specialties 081 "Law" and 293 "International Law" at the second (master's) level of higher education is a mandatory component of the certification of higher education students in the specialties "Law" and "International Law", so it became necessary to hold an organizational meeting to clarify the main issues related to the approbation of the USQE.

The meeting was attended by Volodymyr Nikitin, dean of the NAU Law Faculty, Yulia Yurynets, guarantor of the EPP, Vadym Vyshnevetskyi, deputy dean for Academic Affairs, Nina Trotsiuk, deputy dean for Academic and Organizational Affairs, Liubov Netska, head of the Graduate Department of Commercial, Air and Space Law, academic staff involved in the process of conducting the approbation USQE, and full-time and part-time masters.

The students got acquainted with the USQE program and the peculiarities of the approbation exam on September 28, 2023, the rules of conduct during its passing and actively participated in the discussion of a number of problematic issues.

The management of the Law Faculty has stated that testing for students for each of these specialties will last 180 minutes. The USQE test is based on stories and 120 test tasks of various formats (selecting one correct answer out of the four offered; selecting three correct answers out of seven; determining the sequence/priority; determining the correspondence). The tasks of the USQE are developed in accordance with the programs of the Unified State Qualification Exam in the specialty "Law" and "International Law" at the second (master's) level of higher education, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated October 08, 2021 No. 1076. Please note that the normative (compulsory) USQE is scheduled for November 2023.
