Specialists of the FLSC continue career guidance work

On May 24, 2023, as part of career guidance, 2nd year students of the Faculty of Linguistics and Social Communications, students majoring in Practical Psychology met with high school students of the school №308 of the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv.

The event was held to familiarize high school students with the main factors to consider when choosing a profession, as well as to equip them with the necessary knowledge of the socio-economic and psychophysiological characteristics of various humanitarian professions.

Future applicants had the opportunity to watch a video presentation of the faculty, which provided information on the various specialities in which they can obtain higher education at the NAU and further realize themselves as qualified specialists.

The students also discussed the activities of various structural units of the faculty, the functioning of the trade union bureau, the student council, the creative association of undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as the specifics of this year's admission algorithm, including the proposed competitive proposals, the required EMI subjects and the calculation of the competitive score.

At the end of the meeting, all the students present were offered to take the "Square of Interests" methodology to identify their own professional inclinations, better understand their inner vocation and make a motivated choice of their future profession. Most of the future applicants were inclined to the "human-technical" type of interests.
