On 24 May 2023, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module "European experience for enhancing the resilience of critical facilities in Ukraine" (Project No.: 101085825 - ERASMUS-JMO-2022-MODULE), a round table on "Enhancing the cyber resilience of critical facilities in Ukraine: challenges in Ukraine" was held.

In total, the event was attended by more than 50 participants, including representatives of Ukraine's critical infrastructure, university professors and students.

The roundtable discussed the state of cyber defense of critical facilities in Ukraine and ways to improve their cyber resilience. Roman Odarchenko, head of the Department of Telecommunication and Electronic Systems at the National Aviation University, delivered a presentation on "Security of Cellular Networks as a Part of Ukraine's Critical Infrastructure". During the presentation, the participants discussed the ways to improve the cybersecurity systems of cellular networks, the 5G cyber threat landscape, as well as the prospects and challenges of deploying 5G cellular networks as a critical infrastructure in Ukraine.

Summing up, Maryna Yevdokymenko (doctor of engineering, professor at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Coordinator of the project "European Experience for Enhancing the Resilience of Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine") announced the next activities under the project, namely the Summer School 2023 for students.
