The international conference "AVIA" has successfully started at the FEBA NAU

On 18 April 2023, the XVI International Scientific and Technical Conference "AVIA-2023" in the field of "Economics and Business Administration in Aviation" started its work at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.

At the plenary session, the dean of the faculty, professor Serhii Smerichevskyi, in his welcoming speech, outlined the main areas of economic research in the aviation industry, emphasized the aviation topics of scientific schools, research and development works and dissertation research.

The meeting was joined by the following guests:

- Ihor Kryvoviak, professor of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Logistics, Lutsk National Technical University;

- Andriy Malovychko, dean of the Administrative Faculty of the Poznan Higher School of Pedagogy and Administration named after Meshka I, associate rofessor, (Poznan, Poland);

- Mykhailo Oklander, head of the Department of Marketing, Odesa National Polytechnic University, doctor of economics, professor;

- Anastasia Simakhova, deputy head of the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, doctor of economics, associate professor.

The following made scientific presentations at the plenary session of the conference:

- Olena Arefieva, head of the Department of Air Transport Economics at FEBA, doctor of economics, professor. The topic of her presentation was "Economic and Environmental Safety in Air Transport";

- Kyrylo Astakhov, advisor to the General Director of Boryspil International Airport, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Marketing, PhD in Economics. The topic of the presentation was "Peculiarities of the Boryspil International Airport Development Concept Implementation";

- Tetiana Kosova, head of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Taxation of FESA, doctor of economics, professor. The topic of the report is "Formation of educational and scientific competences in aviation in the preparation of Doctors of Philosophy in the speciality 072 - Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market";

- Nina Ovsiuk, professor of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Taxation of the FEBA, doctor of economics, professor. The topic of the report is "The role of the aviation component in the formation of the EPP "Accounting and Audit";

- Zarina Poberezhna, associate professor of the Department of Economics and Business Technologies of the FEBA, PhD in Economics. The topic of the report was "Main trends in the development of the aviation market of Ukraine in the context of the crisis".

The International Scientific and Technical Conference "AVIA" will continue on 19-20 April at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in the following sections:
