The FGFA NAU community took part in the International Conference of Young Scientists "BUILDING-MASTER CLASS-2023"

On November 29 - December 1, 2023, the annual International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists "BUILD-MASTER CLASS-2023" was held at the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (KNUBA).

The conference is organized by KNUBA with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the All-Ukrainian Charitable Organization "Institute of Municipal Development", the Eighth Framework Program of the European Union for Research and Innovation "Horizon 2020" (project "Train-to-NZEB: Building Knowledge Hub"), the Scientific and Educational Center for the Design and Research of Buildings with Close to Zero Energy Consumption of KNUBA (NZEB Hub KNUBA), and the Laboratory for Research on Energy Efficiency in Construction and Architecture "Energocenter-KNUBA".

During the scientific and practical event, future professionals and young scientists exchanged experience in designing and researching construction and urban development facilities. Particular attention was paid to the popularization of modern efficient materials, technologies and equipment, in particular, technologies for the efficient use of energy resources and environmental protection.

National Aviation University was represented by the Department of Air Transport Infrastructure of the Faculty of Ground Facilities and Airfields.

Under the guidance of a full member of the Academy of Civil Engineering of Ukraine, PhD, associate professor of the Department Halyna Ageieva, master's students majoring in 192 "Civil Engineering and Construction" took part in three sections: "Urban Planning and Territorial Planning", "Construction, Materials and Structures, Construction Production Technology", "Engineering Networks, Automated Systems and Environmental Aspects of Construction".The following reports were presented at the breakout sessions:

- "Planning organization of airport station areas" (Halyna Ageieva, Anna Volkova);

- Peculiarities of technological solutions for the construction of airports on artificial islands (Dmytro Zhuravel, Halyna Ageieva);

- Environmental aspects of aircraft de-icing at civil aviation airports (Halyna Ageieva, Oleksandra Mazur, Oleksandr Boichenko, Dmytro Tetianichenko).
