A journalist of the Qatari TV channel "ALARABY TV" visited NAU: coverage of events in the field of higher education in Ukraine

Muhammad Zawi, a journalist and correspondent for ALARABY TV in Ukraine, who has covered many significant events (cultural, social, military) from Kyiv, Donbas, Odesa, Kherson, Kharkiv and other Ukrainian cities over the past two years, visited the National Aviation University.

Muhammad Zawi met with the acting rector Volodymyr Shulha and interviewed him, during which they discussed the challenges faced by the university since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, and talked about the future - the prospects for the development of the university, ambitious plans.

In particular, Volodymyr Shulha noted that at the beginning of the war, the academic staff was able to quickly restructure the educational process, and since April 2022, students have been studying online on a regular basis, and since September 2023 - on a mixed basis. He also emphasized that during the war, the university expanded educational opportunities for its students with the help of foreign partners. Thanks to the cooperation of NAU with the Czech Technical University, a project for the joint training of our pilot students in the Czech Republic was launched.

The journalist also visited the Faculty of International Relations to make a story about the organization of the educational process in the context of a full-scale invasion. He met with the dean of the faculty Yuriy Voloshyn, interviewed a student in Arabic Daniel Zhabr, and talked to students of English-language projects and faculty members.

ALARABY TV is a Qatari international television channel broadcasting in Arabic. The channel has been covering the events in Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion and provides an opportunity for Ukrainians to convey their point of view on the political and military events taking place in Ukraine to the Arab world.
