NAU faculty member completed a refresher course as part of the USAID Education Project

Tetiana Okhrimenko, assistant professor at the Department of Computer Information Technology, Faculty of Cyber Security, Computer and Software Engineering of the National Aviation University, PhD in technical sciences, successfully completed a refresher course under the USAID educational project "Cyber Security of Critical Infrastructure of Ukraine", joined this year by NAU and other leading domestic institutions of higher education in the field of cybersecurity.

Tetiana Okhrimenko took the Cloud Cybersecurity course and received the appropriate certificate (course mentor Dr. Silvia Elaluf-Calderwood from Florida International University, USA).

The training was held in July-August 2022 within the framework of the Summer School to develop professional competencies of teachers of cybersecurity and information security.

The knowledge gained will later be used to train graduate students in cybersecurity and computer science at the faculty.
