Possibilities of forensic examination in the investigation of aviation accidents

On December 8, 2020, in cooperation with the Kyiv Research Institute of Forensic Science, the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure of the Faculty of Law organized a training for 4th year students on the topic: "Possibilities of forensic examination in the investigation of aviation accidents."

The head of the laboratory of scientific and methodical work of the Kyiv Research Institute of Forensic Examinations, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Oleksandr Sadchenko is invited to participate in this event.

He drew students' attention to the specifics of forensic institutions, told about the types and purposes of forensic examinations conducted directly at the institute, the peculiarities of forensic activities and the procedure for monitoring compliance by forensic experts with the law. The main emphasis is also placed on the possibility of forensic examinations in the investigation of aviation accidents, in particular those examinations that are appointed in the first place and what is the probative value of the results obtained in the future for criminal proceedings.

Conducting trainings is a necessary element of the educational process of future specialists in the field of law and law enforcement. After all, understanding the practical aspects and communicating with current experts allows higher education students to assess their own knowledge and compare the theoretical component with real practice.
