International scientific cooperation with the Marie Curie-Skłodowska University of Lublin

Іn cooperation with the Marie Curie-Skłodowska University of Lublin, the research and teaching staff of the Faculty of Law took part in a remote international conference on "Responsibility for burglary".

The event, organized by one of the largest state universities in Poland, was attended by leading Ukrainian and international scholars, international experts, government officials and the public, who discussed the protection of the constitutional human right to inviolability of property, the feasibility of tougher criminal liability. crimes against property, as well as case law in cases of crimes against property with penetration into housing, other premises or storage.

During the conference, Sofiia Lukhova made a report on "Analysis of case law on crimes against property committed with penetration", emphasizing the problematic aspects of theoretical and practical nature of the composition of crimes committed with penetration, and suggested ways to improve domestic criminal law and judicial practice in Ukraine.

Following the results of the international conference, the organizers and participants plan to publish a collective monograph, outlining in it the theoretical and legislative problems of the doctrinal definition of responsibility for burglary.
