Formation of general and professional competencies for the successful realization of professional activity in the field of recreation and tourism

The Main Focus of Educational Professional Program

General education under the program of study № 242 “Tourism”, keywords: tourism as a social phenomenon; profiles of tourist activity (economic, managerial, public, educational, scientific); innovative tourism product and innovation in tourism; organization and management of subjects of the tourism industry; tourism market; international business and logistics; sustainable tourism and socially responsible business; management of quality of tourist services; project management in tourism; management of regional development of tourism.

Features of educational and research program

Students have the opportunity to study the semester at the Alpen - Adria University (Klagenfurt, Austria) and  the Higher School of Tourism and Ecology (Sucha Beskidzka, Poland) in accordance with the cooperation agreements between NAU and the indicated universities

Employment opportunities

Ability of graduates to carry out entrepreneurial activities in the field of tourism business and occupy the position of a specialist of organizational-managerial level on recreational and tourist services (heads of tourism departments in cities and regions of Ukraine, a tourist researcher, a tour researcher).

Ability to set and successfully solve scientific and practical tasks at a sufficient professional level, generalize the practice of tourism and recreation, to predict directions of their development, to solve professional problems and practical problems in the field of tourism and recreation both in the process of learning and in the process of work.

Ability to analyze the geospatial organization of the tourism process and to design its development on the basis of sustainability.
