Kyiv Aviation Institute and FANUC Ukraine Sign a Memorandum of Strategic Partnership

The State University Kyiv Aviation Institute (KAI) and FANUC Ukraine, the official representative of the global leader in industrial automation FANUC Corporation (Japan), have signed a Memorandum of Strategic Partnership.

The partnership aims to advance modern engineering education in Ukraine, update academic programs in robotics, mechatronics, and industrial automation, and introduce new training courses aligned with real-world industry needs.

A key focus of the cooperation is the professional development of educators from higher, pre-tertiary, and vocational education institutions. Together with FANUC Ukraine, KAI will establish a system of continuous professional growth for technical teachers and introduce innovative teaching methods based on practical applications of automation technologies.

The collaboration will help integrate cutting-edge approaches to engineering education, including digital modeling, robotic control, and Industry 4.0 concepts. It envisions joint development of academic programs, internships for teachers and students, and open training courses in robotics and automation for educators across Ukraine.
