Participation of the Faculty of Cybersecurity and Software Engineering in the EDUPRO program from SoftServe

During April-June 2024, associate professor of the Department of Computerized Information Security Systems Anna Ilienko and senior lecturer Olena Prokopenko from the Faculty of Cybersecurity and Software Engineering took part in the international teacher training program EDUPRO (EDUCATOR PROFICIENCY PROGRAM), dedicated to the development of soft skills.

The event was organized by SoftServe, a leading Ukrainian IT company, in partnership with the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine.

During the training, the participants learned about global educational trends and explored the most relevant topics of soft skills development necessary to create a high-quality, dynamic and enriching learning environment for students.

Upon successful completion of the program, Anna Ilienko and Olena Prokopenko received certificates of advanced training in the amount of 30 academic hours (1 ECTS credit). The acquired knowledge and skills will be implemented in the educational process of training bachelor's and master's degree students in the specialty 125 "Cybersecurity and Information Protection" under the training program "Security of Information and Communication Systems".
