Meeting of the students of the Faculty of International Relations with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hellenic Republic to Ukraine

During the internship, students of the English-language project of the International Relations specialty met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hellenic Republic to Ukraine Manolis Androulakis.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hellenic Republic to Ukraine Manolis Androulakis familiarized students with the principles of diplomatic institutions in wartime. He also gave a lecture in English on the prospects and directions of work that await future diplomats of Ukraine after the war and after Ukraine's accession to the EU.

The speaker emphasized the need for public diplomacy, as it is an integral part of the country's strategic communications. Manolis Androulakis also spoke about his main goal - to inform Greece about the events in Ukraine. The diplomat mentioned the assistance to the Greek diaspora in the occupied territories and spoke about the attitude of the Greeks to the events in Ukraine.

Manolis Androulakis answered numerous questions from the students regarding relations and further cooperation between Greece and Ukraine. The diplomat also emphasized the importance of learning foreign languages, as it guarantees new prospects and opportunities to work in international organizations.
