What is an FPV drone, what is it for, and how to fly it?

On April 17, 2024, the Educational and Research Institute of Continuing Education of the National Aviation University will host a meeting with a stakeholder, during which NAU students will have the opportunity to learn about FPV drones and their use. The special guest of the event will be Yuriy Hanusiak, a developer of copter-type attack unmanned aerial vehicles, FPV pilot, and manufacturer of batteries for various types of UAVs.
FPV drones (First Person View) are drones equipped with a "first-person view" function. The operator controls such a drone with a remote control and sees the area around the drone in real time through special glasses, as if sitting inside the drone itself, like a pilot.
During the open lecture, Yuriy Hanusiak will talk about:
- Components of an FPV drone;
- Differences between FPV drones and conventional ones;
- How these drones are operated;
- Why flying an FPV drone is much more difficult than, for example, a Mavic;
- The importance of donations for FPV drones and their usefulness at the front.
This meeting will be a great opportunity for students and faculty of the National Aviation university to learn more about FPV drones, their design, control features and application in various fields, including warfare.
Please follow the link to join the meeting.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to gain valuable knowledge from an industry expert!
