Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Ukraine Alexandru Victor Micula and Minister Plenipotentiary of the Embassy Mihai Dinu visited the National Aviation University.

The guests were welcomed by acting rector Ksenia Semenova, vice-rector for international cooperation and education Iryna Zarubinska and dean of the Faculty of International Relations Yuriy Voloshyn.

Alexandru Victor Mikula and Mihai Din were told about the university's educational, scientific and international activities, and were introduced to the material and technical and educational facilities. The parties discussed possible ways of cooperation in the fields of education, science and culture between the NAU and the Romanian Embassy. They also discussed cooperation in the field of engineering education and the aerospace industry of the two countries.

The leadership of the NAU enlisted the support of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary for the interaction of the NAU with Romanian universities, in particular, exchange programs between Romanian and Ukrainian students. They also agreed on an internship for students of the FIR at the Romanian Embassy in Ukraine and on the study of Romanian as a second foreign language by students of the faculty.

The guests also visited the Faculty of International Relations.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Ukraine Alexandru Victor Micula gave a lecture to students of the Faculty of International Relations.

The Ambassador spoke about the possibilities of developing bilateral economic relations between Romania and Ukraine and our country's integration into the European Union. The speaker emphasized that economic ties between the countries are very important and noted that Romania is preparing five joint projects with Ukraine to be implemented in Zakarpattia and Odesa region.

Alexandru Victor Micula also answered numerous questions from the students of the faculty and told the students about his diplomatic experience and how Romania helps Ukrainian refugees abroad and helps to record Russian crimes against Ukraine.
