Experience of graduates of the Faculty of Ground Facilities and Airfields: from study to professional success

On March 21, the Faculty of Ground Facilities and Airfields hosted an online meeting of students with FGFA graduates. The event brought together the acting dean of the faculty Oktiabryna Chemakina, the deputy dean Valentyna Grabovchak and the heads of the departments.

Oleksandra Dyka, Alyona Maksymchuk and Hlib Brizhanov shared with the students the stories of their professional growth, recalling the best student years, full of unforgettable impressions. They emphasized the importance of participating in scientific competitions and conferences, as it was at such events that they met their first employers. The graduates emphasized the benefits of doing an internship in their chosen specialty while studying and the need to build a portfolio of research projects from the first year of study.

After graduation, Oleksandra Dyka worked in various design firms and is now a 2D artist at Netflix, creating illustrations for games. Aliona Maksymchuk has realized her potential as an architect, developing projects for McDonald's and the Scandia residential complex in Brovary. Hlib Brizhanov is a lead designer at Nobel.

The students listened with enthusiasm to the inspiring stories of the alumni, asked numerous questions and consulted on professional development. The meeting was held in a warm atmosphere, as the openness, sincerity and willingness to share successful cases on the part of the alumni inspired students to develop themselves and gain maximum knowledge during their studies.
