Volodymyr Shulga, chairman of the NAU Reorganization Commission and acting rector, met with Oleksandr Bilchuk, head of the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine

Today, Volodymyr Shulga, chairman of the NAU Reorganization Commission, acting rector, visited the State Aviation Service of Ukraine and held a working meeting with its head Oleksandr Bilchuk.

During the meeting, the current state of cooperation between NAU and the SASU and urgent issues that have arisen in connection with the practical implementation of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to reorganize the National Aviation University, in particular, its division into the State University "Kyiv Aviation Institute" and the Ukrainian State Flight Academy (Kropyvnytskyi) were discussed. First of all, it was about

- recognition of certificates by the SAAU when changing the name of NAU;

- settlement of issues related to the implementation of the SAAU recommendations based on the results of inspections;

- certification of the NAU Flight Training Center;

- involvement of SAAU inspectors to conduct courses at the ICAO Institute, etc.

The interlocutors highly appreciated the existing level of dialogue and cooperation between the SAAU and the NAU and expressed hope that in the process of reorganization of the NAU this interaction would become even closer and more successful.
