The Law Faculty hosted the All-Ukrainian Conference of Young Scientists and Students "Aero-2023. Air and Space Law"

On November 23, the All-Ukrainian Conference of Young Scientists and Students "Aero-2023. Air and Space Law", which this year is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the National Aviation University.

During the plenary session, important issues for our country were considered, primarily related to the formation and development of air and space law, the post-war development of public law regulation of public relations in the field of civil aviation and private law regulation of relations in the aviation industry, security activities in the aviation sector, the current state and prospects for the development of economic, air and environmental law, etc.

Within the framework of the conference, domestic and foreign scholars presented their reports, including:

Nadiia Armash - doctor of law, associate professor, deputy director of the Center for Forensic Examination and Expert Research of the State Judicial Administration, Nizar Bandar - consul of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kateryna Vodolaskova - PhD, leading legal advisor of the Contractual and Legal Department of the Legal Department of the SE "Boryspil International Airport", attorney, doctoral student of aviation law at the University of Cologne, Cologne (Germany), Igor Zelinsky - deputy head of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine, Natalia Koziy - expert in air law, deputy director for Legal Affairs of one of the leading tour operators in Ukraine, Yaroslav Kucher - chairman of the Public Council of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine, Kostiantyn Skydanov - PhD, head of the Department for State Property Management at the State Space Agency of Ukraine, Larysa Soroka - PhD, professor, head of the Doctoral and Postgraduate Studies Department at the Research Institute of Public Law, Olena Tyshchenko - PhD, professor of the Department of Labor Law and Social Security Law of the Institute of Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Vitalii Figura, associate professor of the Doctoral and Postgraduate Studies Department of the Bohdan Khmelnytskyi National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Maksym Khodakivskyi, judge of the Zhovtnevyi District Court of Dnipropetrovs'k, trainer-teacher of the National School of Judges of Ukraine, Stella Tsybizova, judge of the Poltava District Court of Poltava Region, trainer-teacher of the National School of Judges of Ukraine.

The suggestions and recommendations made by the conference participants will be implemented in the training process, used for further research, and will serve to improve national legislation in the context of adapting it to the norms and requirements of international standards.
