Memorandum of partnership and cooperation between NAU and the public union "Rehabilitation Forces of Ukraine"

Today, the chairman of the Reorganization Commission, acting rector Volodymyr Shulga met with the chairman of the public union "Rehabilitation Forces of Ukraine" Igor Dubinin at the National Aviation University to sign a Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation.

The meeting was also attended by Oleksandr Ponomarenko, head of the Corporate Governance Department of the NAU, Olena Datsun, senior lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Vocational Education of the FLSC of the NAU, psychotherapist, crisis psychologist, and Anzhelika Kokarieva, deputy dean, professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Vocational Education of the FLSC, practical psychologist and other representatives of the NGO - Dmytro Voronchykhin, Romana Tsisar, Maria Neliapina, who discussed the availability of a program of psychological rehabilitation of wounded using art therapy at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, which is already being applied in practice.

Representatives of the union confirmed the possibility of involving our specialists in rehabilitation work and training practices for students.

The purpose of signing this Memorandum is to consolidate efforts and implement measures aimed at developing a rehabilitation system in Ukraine to restore the life potential of Ukrainians, including by deepening cooperation in the field of charitable activities in compliance with the requirements of budget legislation.

The Parties shall interact on the principles of equality, respect, openness and integrity and shall develop and adopt a Rehabilitation Cooperation Plan as a document defining the main areas of joint action and mobilize the expert potential of the Parties to formulate quality initiatives aimed at solving problems in the development of the rehabilitation and charitable sector in Ukraine.

The areas of cooperation are as follows:

- exchange of information on activity plans, projects and programs in the field of rehabilitation system development in Ukraine;

- holding joint events: round tables, seminars, conferences, forums, symposia, etc;

Volodymyr Shulga thanked the guests for the great work they are doing and assured them of the NRAU's full readiness to participate in such events and noted the importance of working towards the rehabilitation of our defenders.
