VII International Scientific and Practical Conference "The Latest Advances in Biotechnology" at the Faculty of Environmental Safety, Engineering and Technology

On September 21-22, 2023, the Department of Biotechnology of the NAU Faculty of Environmental Safety, Engineering and Technology hosted the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference "The Latest Achievements of Biotechnology".

Within the framework of the conference, a round table "Towards a low carbon economy" was held, organized within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ project, Jean Monnet direction "Clean Energy Technologies and Energy Efficiency: the EU Experience", which was received by the scientific group of the Department of Biotechnology of FESET of NAU, under the leadership of associate professor O.O. Kuznetsova.

The conference was attended by more than 100 scientists, including scientists from Poland, Slovakia and other countries. The issues of pharmaceutical, ecological and molecular biotechnology, biomonitoring, bioenergy, creation and use of medicines in extreme conditions, including space, biosecurity and biosafety in aviation, and others were discussed.

The participants had a lot of discussions and friendly communication. We are pleased to note the high activity of young scientists, including NAU graduates.
