NAU Associate Professor appointed as President of the Future Lawyers Club of the All-Ukrainian Public Organization "Ukrainian Association of Advocates”

On April 12 Oleh Horetskyi, an associate professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure of the Faculty of Law of the National Aviation University was appointed as a president of the Future Lawyers Club of the Ukrainian public organization "Ukrainian Advocates Association".

Oleh Horetskyi combines his scientific activity with practice. He is a managing partner of the law firm "Horetskyi & Partners", attorney-at-law, PhD in law.

"The main purpose of the Future Lawyers Club is to provide assistance to lawyers who intend to become lawyers in the future, to inform them about the specifics of the profession, to organize training programs and seminars. The Club attracts persons who do not have the status of a lawyer and its members can be both students studying law and the lawyers, already practicing law. Therefore, I invite everyone who wishes to become part of the legal community of practitioners who will work in the field of access to justice in the future, "- said the new head.

The objectives of the Future Lawyers Club are:

- to popularize the legal profession and to deepen the public's knowledge of the law of the legal profession;

- assistance to lawyers in preparing for the qualification exams for the certificate of the right to practice law;

- creating conditions for communication and exchange of experience among lawyers, legal practitioners and law students;

- Improvement of legislation and theoretical and methodological bases of legal regulation of advocacy activity.
