VII WORLD CONGRESS “AVIATION IN THE XXI CENTURY” AT NAU
Participants of VII World Congress "Aviation in the XXI century" considered prospects of aviation industry.
The National Aviation University completed the VII World Congress “Aviation in the XXI Century” which was dealing with topical issues of aviation and space technology.
The meetings of the congress were attended by special guests, including: Vice President, Head of the Section of Physical, Technical and Mathematical Sciences, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Scientist of Ukraine, Laureate of the State Prize of the USSR and Ukraine Naumovets Anton Grygorovich, Director of the Institute of Space Studies of NAS of Ukraine and DKA of Ukraine, Corresponding member of NAS of Ukraine, Laureate of State Prize of Ukraine Fedorov Oleg Pavlovich, Advisor to the President of the State Company “Antonov”, test pilot in Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after O.K.Antonov, President of NGO “Aviation Sports Federation of Ukraine”, Chairman of the Coordination Council of NGO “Aircraft Manufacturers Association”, Hero of Ukraine, Honored test pilot, Ph.D. Halunenko Alexander Vasyliovich, Director of the Department for Flight Operation of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine Diomin Eduard Volodymyrovich, Vice Rector for academic work of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Romualdas Klyukas and many other honored guests.
The Chairman of the Scientific Council of NAU Valery Chepizhenko summed up the work during three days of the congress and said the participants paid attention to the most urgent issues of the aerospace industry.
In his speech, Anton Naumovets highlighted that it is extremely important for today to preserve the aviation industry in Ukraine. “I am very pleased that the University continues the tradition of hosting this event. We must keep the heritage of the scientists who worked earlier before us and created a lot. We are facing economic difficulties now, but despite this, we continue to build and develop aviation industry of our country, “- said the professor.
In his turn, Eduard Diomin said that the Congress helped make several steps forward in solving the pressing issues of aviation.
Romualdas Klyukas from Lithuania felt proud of collaboration with the colleagues of NAU: "I am proud of our collaboration with NAU and want it to become increasingly stronger over the years. I invite all teachers to European cooperation in international projects and exchange programs. Taking this opportunity, I want to wish peace to all Ukrainian people, faster expulsion of all enemies from the territory of the country and prosperity to Ukraine”.
It should be noted that the National Aviation University has been the initiator of the World Congress “Aviation in the XXI Century” – “Safety in Aviation and Space Technology" for 13 years. Scientists from 26 countries have joined the cross-border research and innovation debate. The co-organizers of the Congress became a number of influential aviation and transport universities from Azerbaijan, China, Lithuania and Poland.
The List of workshops of the Congress included the most pressing areas of research and innovation found in the aerospace industry:
- Modern aerospace technologies.
- Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
- Air navigation and air traffic management system.
- IEEE International Symposium on radar methods and systems (RMSW-2016).
- Environmental protection.
- Aviation himmotology.
- The communication factor in contemporary international relations.
- Economics and management in aviation.
- Human factor in aviation.
- Problems of modern airports.
- Air and space law: international and national security issues.
- Innovative technology in professional training on the basis of higher education.
- ICAO Strategy in aviation security
376 presentations were attentively listened to at 13 sections of the Congress. During the days of the congress the participants had been touring the Museum of History NAU and the State Museum of Aviation.
So, it is possible to conclude that scientific and technical activities of this level is a good platform for further innovation development of aviation and space exploration in order to increase safety and creation of new aerospace technologies.
