NAU AWARDED GRAND PRIX AT “EDUCATION IN UKRAINE. EDUCATION ABROARD”

NAU was awarded Grand Prix at the International Exhibition “Education in Ukraine. Education Abroad.”

From 28th to 30th of September 2016, in the Column Hall of Kyiv City State Administration there was held the most prestigious educational event of the year – an international exhibition "Education in Ukraine.  Education Abroad” under the motto “Study in Ukraine.” The participants were the leading educational establishments: universities, academies, institutes and colleges. The exhibition was sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, Kyiv City State Administration and the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.

The solemn concert ceremony of social projects “Proud to Study in Ukraine” and “Remember ALMA MATER. Thanks for Education” was opened by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Head of the Office Greba R.V. who welcomed the participants and guests of the ceremony. Among the spokesmen at the ceremony the audience greeted the following honored people:  Acting Rector of the National Aviation University, Doctor of Biology, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine Isaenko V.M., notable alumnus of NAU and now First Deputy Director General of the International Airport “Kyiv” (Juliani) Petrovsky O.M. and many others.  

Our University submitted materials and took part in the contest in the category “Preparing graduates of secondary schools for training in higher education.” The head of the project was Director of Pre-University Training, Doctor of Education, and Professor Muranova N.P.  Acting Rector Isaenko V.M. got Grand Prix, an honorary award, and a prestigious Diploma of the Winner in that thematic nomination; these awards confirming the leadership and ranking of the National Aviation University. Petrovsky O.M. received a diploma of an Honorable alumnus and a memorable medal of NAU.

The event was attended by more than 1,800 students, their parents and teachers from not only Kyiv but from many regions of Ukraine. Our University stands were very popular among the students who are intending to enter both the engineering specialties and also humanitarian, legal, economic, international and etc. The participants had a wonderful opportunity to get professional consultations with the representatives of NAU, see videos, vivid and meaningful presentations of educational and research institutions.

Exhibition materials presented by NAU showed innovations to improve the quality of education; implementation of educational programs; providence of high-quality educational services; experience of international cooperation in joint educational projects; possibility of Continuing Education; preparation courses for testing (EET); opportunity to study English; studying at the Department of Military Training; publishing scientific and methodological support implementation of innovations in the educational space; the results of the Admissions Campaign-2016. The visitors were given information and advertising materials and provided personal counseling.

Institutes of our University presented the activity of Pre-University training, Admissions Committee, Scientific Library, Information and Analytical Department, Educational and Research Institute of Air Navigation.
