Airports are Opening a Window into the Future of Ukraine

 On June 16-17, 2014, the IV-th International Scientific Conference "Airports - Window to the Future 2014" took place in the National Aviation University. Co-organizers and sponsors of the event were world leaders in airport construction, the company brands: “Standartpark” and “Tekhnonikol”. Oktiabryna Chemakina, the Director of the Institute of Airports of NAU, warmly welcomed members of the forum. During the plenary session the presentations were made by Hryhoriy Holodnyak,  the Head of the Deprtment of Certification of Aerodromes and Airports of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine; Volodymyr Kavunov, the Head of the Department of Certification of Entities for Land Service of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine; Petro Lypovenko, the President of "Airports of Ukraine" of civil aviation; Victor Lychyk, the Chairman of Aviation Ground Gquipment Association of "Airports of Ukraine" of civil aviation, Oleksandr Melnyk, the President of GIS Association of Ukraine; Oleksandr Hahayev, the Director of “Standartpark”; Pavlo Dats, the Head of "Tekhnonikol" company, and many others. The conference continued its work in seven sections after the plenary session. More than 100 papers and topical presentations were presented there.
