Lecture course by University of Köln’s professor

Professor Stephan Hobe, Director of the Institute of Air, Space and Cyber Law at University of Köln (Germany), delivered a series of open lectures on European Union law. The course was organized by NAU’s Law Faculty. The event was held in the framework of a cooperation agreement concluded between NAU and the Institute of Air, Space Law and Cyber Law of University of Köln

More than 100 participants in online communication with the German Professor received comprehensive information about the fundamental principles of formation and institutional structure of the modern European Union, sources of European law, conditions and processes of accession to and secession from the EU.

Also, the lecturer discussed with the audience aspects of the European Union’s functioning and the peculiarities of legal relations in times of crisis. He outlined the financial, economic, and humanitarian issues arising amid the current challenges of a globalized world.
