    On November 20, 2020, the All - Ukrainian scientific and Practical Conference of young scientists and students with international participation «Aero-2020 Air and space law» was held at the Faculty of law of the National Aviation University in an online format on the GoogleMeet platform.

    The conference was attended by 235 participants from 15 regions of Ukraine, 24 educational institutions and 16 institutions and organizations whose activities are related to the aerospace industry. Scientists from Georgia, India, Ireland and Poland joined the conference.

    Opening the plenary session of the Conference, vice-rector for innovative training and informatization of NAU Sergey Yuldashev congratulated Young Scientists and students on the start of the scientific event, and noted that holding a conference on this topic is evidence that the Faculty of law has created favorable conditions for training lawyers who will be ready to work in the aviation and space industry.

    Irina Zarubinskaya, vice-rector for International cooperation and education of NAU, also congratulated the conference participants and noted the importance of establishing partnerships with foreign universities, including in scientific research in the field of air and space law. The vice-rector noted that academic mobility of students and scientists, as one of the priority areas in the process of forming a common European educational and scientific space, should help attract young people to scientific activities, significantly improve the quality and efficiency of science and education.

    Dean of the Faculty of Law Iryna Sopilko noted that the effectiveness of this conference is new promising research that is directly related to practice, as well as expanding the range of communication of young scientists and making suggestions and recommendations for improving legislation, in line with current changes in society and the state.

    Oleksandr Lukashov, People's Deputy of Ukraine, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation, Doctor of Law, Professor, shared his experience of scientific and professional achievements; Pavlo Pavlish - People's Deputy of Ukraine, Member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy, Candidate of Law; Volodymyr Mikheyev - Deputy Chairman of the Board of the State Space Agency of Ukraine.

    Informative reports of Sucheta Rajkhova, PhD at the School of International Studies at Javarharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India; Igor Zelinsky, Deputy Chairman of the state aviation service of Ukraine; Viktor Moroz, Managing Partner of the Law Association "Suprema Lex"; Alexander Provozin, Deputy Chairman of the board for Information Protection of the Research Institute of electromechanical devices; Maria Mironchuk, HR Business Partner, Skyup airline; Vladimir Svanadze, co-founder of the cybersecurity academy CSA of Georgia; Bogdan Dolince – consultant on strategic planning and monitoring of the Public Association "Institute of management and strategies"; Andrey Shabalin – lawyer of the Law Association "Lex consulting" and others.

    The work of discussion panels was also successful, where students actively joined the discussion and discussed issues of theory and practice of development of space and air Law, Public Administration in the field of aviation, criminal legal means of countering criminal offenses in the transport sector, innovations in the aviation sector and problems of modern civil studies, topical issues of transport, land and environmental law, etc.
