The NAU delegation is participating in the international conference under the ICAO

The delegation of the National Aviation University is participating in the Regional Aviation Security Conference to resolve common problems through the implementation of the Global Aviation Security Plan (GASeP), which takes place in Lisbon, Portugal, on 29-31 May.

Our university at this venerable international event is represented by the NAU Rector V.Isaienko and the Deputy Head of the International Relations Department A. Ivanov.

The conference is attended by representatives of ICAO member countries, as well as major airlines, aviation industry enterprises, educational institutions of the appropriate sphere.

Within the framework of the conference, the NAU rector's working meetings were held with ICAO General Secretary Dr. Fan Liu, Regional Directors of the European and North Atlantic Offices of ICAO Dr. Luis Fonseca de Almeida, with the Security Officer of the European - North Atlantic Bureau ICAO Dr. Cornelia Ludorf.

As a result of the discussions, the main directions of cooperation between NAU and the Headquarters and ICAO North Atlantic Bureau were identified. In addition, the National Aviation University was invited to participate in the following ICAO events.
