Meeting with the representatives of the International Aviation College "Remo International College of Aviation" (Republic of India).

On March 28 - 29, 2018 the National Aviation University hosted a meeting of the leadership with representatives of the International Aviation College "Remo International College of Aviation" (Republic of India). The delegation included the director of Vinoth Kumar Indiranathan College, the director of the international company Euromed Overseas P. Siddharth Singh and the personal assistant of the company Euromed Overseas Srikar Rachakonda. The purpose of the visit was to discuss and sign a cooperation agreement with the aim of deepening cooperation in the preparation of students of the Bachelor of Arts and Master in joint programs, improving the effectiveness of training and research work and agreeing on the main training directions for ICAO's programs in the field of aviation security. The Ukrainian side was represented by the Vice-rector for academic and training work Tamara Ivanova, the director of the ICAO Institute Galina Suslova, the head of the IRD Vyacheslav Timokhin, the deputy chief of the IRD Alexander Ivanov, the director of the ICAO European Regional Training Centre for Aviation Security Igor Dobrovolsky and the deputy director of the Centre for Civil Aviation Svetlana Gritsay.

Professor Galina Suslova greeted the guests. She briefly told about the history of the university, outlined the main directions of its activities and noted the main trends of its development today, including, in the framework of cooperation with ICAO. Partners were interested in issues of aviation directions in the English-language project, differences in the preparation of bachelors and masters in Ukraine and India and ways to overcome them, the passage of practices by foreign students and cooperation with the Institute of ICAO NAU.

As a result of negotiations, the parties signed an agreement on cooperation, and in the near future, the first group of Indian students will arrive at the National Aviation University to receive training on the basis of the ICAO Institute.
