Cooperation of the Ministry of Defense and NAU

On January 31, 2018, an official meeting was held by Acting Rector of the National Aviation University Volodymyr Isaienko with the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Ivan Rusnak.

During the meeting, the urgent issues were taken under considerations to the reconstriction of military training faculty at the University, the development of the system of international military education and military-technical cooperation directions. The Acting Rector informed the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine about the scientific and technical potential of higher education and its capabilities, achievements in the development of modern unmanned aeronautical complexes, the development of a training system for pilots and operators of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Special attention was paid to the training of specialists in a number of specialties at the Department of Military Training and the mechanism for the establishment of the Faculty of Military Training and the maximum use of its potential in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the meeting.

The First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, taking into account the specifics of the University, offered to take an active part in solving urgent issues of the creation of new models of aviation equipment and its components, especially in the direction of unmanned aviation.
