NAU WILL TRAIN PROFESSIONALS FOR UIA

On July 1st, 2016, Acting Rector of the National Aviation University Volodymyr Kharchenko met the heads of the UIA Training Center for Development and Exploitation of New Technology, namely: Director of the Center Sergei Vasylenko, Director for Quality Volodymyr Polishchuk and the Chief of UIA Service Centre Alevtyna Fursayeva. At the meeting the University was represented by: Director of Educational and Research Aerospace Institute Valery Shmarov, Deputy-director Sergei Dmytriev, Director of Educational and Research Institute of Air Navigation Valery Chepizhenko, a leading researcher Dmytro Buhayko and a senior lecturer in avionics Alexander Tryzna.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss experts training for UIA, who will be able to implement modern aviation technology. The necessity for constant training is primarily concerned with a five-year plan for UIA development. During the stated period, this leading company is planning to grow from an average company by European standards into a larger one with more than one hundred aircraft.

It should be noted that the negotiations showed good will for cooperation on both sides.

Volodymyr Kharchenko suggested working out the forms of collaboration between the partners. In particular, some important issues were discussed at the meeting, namely: a pre-determined participation of NAU and UIA Service Center, a number of steps were approved for the near future and for the perspective. Previously, it was decided to choose the best senior students to study at the center. First of all, it will affect mechanical and avionics students. The terms of selection and training will soon be determined.

One can clearly understand, this level of training for young specialists opens good prospects for their working in aviation.
