NAU IS POTENCIAL PARTNER OF СHINESE IT COMPANY “HUAWEI”

The delegation of the world famous Chinese company in the field of IT technologies “Huawei” visited the National Aviation University. The company produces mobile phones, tablets, network equipment and so on. Now, this company takes the world’s second place after the IT company “Samsung“. Their annual revenue is stated at about $ 70 billion; the company aims to increase it up to $120 billion. Every year “Huawei” invests about $9 billion in research and development. Having built a commercial office in Ukraine, the company is actively exploring the possibility of creating a scientific center in our country. That is why, the Chinese experts visited NAU to get acquainted with the achievements and capabilities of the university.

According to Volodymyr Kharchenko, Acting Rector of the National Aviation University, the University is maintaining relationship with a number of partners in China, including the Technological University “Nimbo”. During its long work, NAU has trained more than 200 000 students for 140 countries. Today, the University trains aviation specialists for 45 countries. We are peforming a number of international projects being actually very necessary for Ukraine: the National Aviation University is developing a series of aircraft simulators and the Aerospace Institute is producing a series of satellite technology projects, remote sensing, and a number of UASs (unmanned aircraft systems) and complexes.

Having seen and heard a lot about the projects of NAU, the chinese experts were greatly impressed and it gives the reason to hope for the cooperation of Ukrainian university with this powerful global company in the IT sector.
