NAU Hospitably Opens Doors for Future Students

On April, 12, NAU Open Day was held on the initiative of Acting Rector Volodymyr Kharchenko for Applicants-2016 in the format of exhibitions and presentations of training and scientific institutes of NAU. Our team of highly qualified teaching staff and students hospitably met future students, their teachers and parents. The event was held at the Center of Culture and Arts with the participation of training and research institutes, the Admissions Committee, Department of Military Training, and Institute of Pre-University Training.

Every year the University opens its doors to the applicants, who are thinking about their right career choices and options, and are seeking after quality higher education to be competitive in the labor market. Available courses at NAU encompass a huge number of subjects and study options, allowing applicants to specialize in their interests.

The meeting was opened by Alexander Badrudinov, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, T. Ivanova, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Methodical work, Directors of Institutes, N. Muranova, Director of IPT, many representatives of departments, and O. Tkalich, executive secretary of the Admissions Board.

Prospective students were familiarized with the list of specialties and double degree programs of international academic mobility, admission rules to NAU, curricula, logistics, teaching staff, cost of the tuition and many other important issues. The participants took an interest in the learning process, possibility of the second higher education (certificate), English-language project, training at preparatory courses and Department of military training, opportunities of training abroad and prospects for future employment.

Festive and businesslike atmosphere while working time contributed to viewing videos of the training units of NAU, striking and informative presentations of the departments, an exhibition of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), commonly known as drones. The participants of NAU Open Day visited the Museum of History of NAU, a hangar, academic buildings and laboratories.

The event was attended by over 1500 students of the Industrial and Economic College, College of Information Technology and Land Management, Kiev College of Computer Technology and Economics of NAU; students of secondary schools # 2  in Rzhyshchiv and in Skvira (Kyiv region) and by many students of secondary schools from Kyiv.

So, we are looking forward to the applicants this summer at the Admissions Board of NAU, as fruitful cooperation gives reasons to hope for it.
