Our Man at TEDx
On June 20, 2014,TEDx Youth conference took place in Kyiv. Among the TED speakers in the world there are such famous people as British politician Gordon Brown, Canadian film director James Cameron, MicroSoft founder Bill Gates. Among the most popular persons in Ukraine there are Vlad Troitskyi, Lyubko Deresh, Pavlo Sheremeta and others. This year, Yevhen Artamonov, an assistant professor of the Department of Computer Systems of the Institute of Computer Information Technologies was among the speakers.
His report on topic "How not to be blind?" was concerned not only the problems of blind people in Ukraine and world wide, but possible ways of adapting eyesight disabled persons to the world of people capable of seeing by electronic devices that he developes with his team of young researchers.
